The Ezra Gallery at Center For Jewish Life in Sag Harbor is pleased to announce a group exhibition featuring the works Joseph Eschenberg, Hendel Futerfas, Susan Schrott and Haim Mizrahi. An artist reception will be held at Center For Jewish Life on Sunday, May 27th, 3:00-5:00pm, located at 36 West Water Street, Sag Harbor, NY.

Joseph Eschenberg an Amgasanset based artist fuses together paint, photography and construction material for many of his projects, using common materials such as acrylic and enamel paint, wood, steel, copper, plastic, aluminum, nuts and bolts, photos and found objects.

Hendel Futerfas is a Brooklyn based artist. He explores Kabbalistic and Chassidic mysticism in his art utilizing a broad and electric spectrum of media including sculpture, resin, brayer drawings, ink on paper, watercolor and oil paint.

Susan Schrott is a fiber and mixed media artist based in Shelter Island. Her exquisite hand dyed fabrics, intense threadwork, embellishments such as crystals and beads, add visual texture and depth.  Her objective is “to move people and instill a sense of hopefulness that is dormant within themselves until they realize that they posses the energy to inspire others.”

Haim Mizrahi is a Jerusalem born artist now based in East Hampton. He is passionate about music, painting and poetry. Mizrahi’s paintings and works span many styles and forms. His large scale paintings include layers of color that exude energy, mystery, poetry and music.
